Heating controls expert, Honeywell, is saying Happy Birthday to its installer network, which celebrates 12 months of success this month.
The Honeywell Installer Network has grown from 172 members when it was first set up in 2010, to an impressive 405 members in December 2011 – a figure which is set to continue growing throughout 2012.
105 of the 122 UK postcode areas are already covered in the network with the remaining 17 soon to follow.
Andy Mansfield, Marketing Communications Manager at Honeywell, commented: “The installer network is an important initiative for us, as it is a great way of ensuring that home owners looking for a professional service can find good installers who have access to Honeywell training.
Members of the Honeywell Installer Network receive first hand news on all Honeywell training courses and product updates, as well as being added to Honeywell’s online ‘find an installer’ database for homeowners to use.
Paul Woolford of Woolford Plumbing & Heating, who was one of the first Honeywell Installer Network members, said: “For us the membership has been great – we have regular updates on schemes and new systems as well as telephone support from the network staff whenever we need it.
It has also increased our customer base - some of the calls we have received from new customers came directly from the Honeywell website. I hope with further public awareness of the service more customers will seek experts in this field and look to the network for their installers.”
